    Hi everyone,
I gave it a shot and tried to install my own rear window in my 49 Plymouth. It got messy and we couldn't get the whole window to seat before the other side would slip out. Now I am looking for some tips or a good place to take my car in to get the window installed.

I got the rubber from berbaums and it seems right but a little to large. Thanks I look forward to the answers.

  2. throw the gasket away I've been in the gl*** business 47 years and have never made a burnbaum fit anything

sounds like you need to find a better quality gl*** seal. if you are near Livermore, Tri-Valley Auto Gl*** does work on old cars.
