Was there different single 4 barrel intakes for 365-390 Cadillac engines? I know they all bolt up to the block, but was there different carb base patterns? If so which one is best? Also, what was used to bolt them down, was there a special hold down for the bolts to go thru,or just a heavy washer? And are there any aluminum aftermarket ones available, and if so who carries them?
    Thanks

Ask over on www.modifiedcadillac.com message board. I don't think there are al intakes but you might check with cad company or mts.

Different 4 barrel carbs were used over time and the manifold's carb mounting flange varied accordingly.

aftermaket 4bbl's are rare. multi carb set-ups are out there, but the single 4bbl is hard to come by. I misssed an alluminum one on the auction site a few years back. I thought I'd like one and went looking. the one I found was off a boat. it was going to require re-milling the plate back to level and I decided it wasn't worth it. I haven't seen another one since then.

How about a nicely made "Log type" manifold either with 4 2GC Rochesters, or 4 1bbl Monojets?
