I need a measurement for the length of the uprights for the wood on a 32 ford coupe rear window.

The kit I recieved (second hand) was made incorrectly. The uprights were short , exactly 1 inch.(see first picture). These were 17 5/16 .

I made new ones , the light colored boards in the second picture, which are too long so that they can be cut to the correct length once determined.

Anyone able to provide a measurement?

    Thanks
    Mike

Attached are photos of original wood. Vertical piece overlaps the horizontal piece that goes above the window. Total overall length of the vertical piece is 19 1/4 inches. Measurement from the bottom of the horizontal piece to the bottom of the vertical piece is 17 3/16 inches.
    Hope that helps.

With that particular "kit" - the overall measurement is variable - several folks make this "kit" - the kit was "invented" so that 5W owners who did not use or did not have the metal package tray could still have a roll up window. So give me a call tomorrow and I'll email pictures of the upright with mounting holes for the drain pan - that will help you figure the length for this "kit"

Look on my website - your kit seems to be missing the bottom board.
