Now thats a kit I never considered for HotRodding!! There is some serious work in there, I would like to see some more pics of this. Nice work. Doc.
A chauffeured HotRod, I could live with that!! Thanks for the extra pics! I really need to start building again! Doc.
I look forward to this weekly thread ..The 37 ford sedan model I did looks like my 5 year old glued it together..So hope the 32 ford I try next comes out better then I'll share a pic .
That ain't nothin'!! Some nut is trying to sell a BiG Drag kit on ebay for 4 grand.... Look it up! I read one response from one buyer... Really???..
My brothers and I use to spend a lot of our paper route and snow shoveling money on model cars. We had Block City building Blocks and they were about the right scale for AMT models. We had hand warmers that used cigarette lighter fluid and would set one inside the garage to keep our models warm. The upstairs bedrooms were not heated and they were cold in the winter. We had an uncle that was a bulk Conoco oil dealer in Cresco, Iowa and he gave us salt and pepper shakers shaped like gas pumps for our garages.
Then this one has been a long term project for me, it is sectioned, has 57 chev front wheel wells, has ppg pearl red paint with ppg clear coat paint, I have about 200 hours of work on this kit so far and it is just not starting to come together....
Great show this week fellas. Please to see the colder weather back for lots of you guys, so now ya can get back in the model shed. Cheers Rofd
