The cookie was great. Im sure you could of had all of us running around like chickens for more cookies.

Next year they should have the engine raffle and a cookie raffle.

It's funny cuz my orIginal plan was to p*** out the cookies personally as each guy came down from the grandstands because I wanted to meet each and every person. When I came around from the side of the grandstands and saw how many folks were sitting there I about ****. I knew it'd be impossible so I just threw the containers to the first row and ran for it.......hoping there was enough to go around

Take a look at the top right corner of the bleachers. Looks like the guy in the black shirt has a container of cookies on his knee and looks like it might be Fiddy Four a couple of spots to the left with the white shirt and ballcap on, looking at the cookies probley hollarin' at the dude to p*** them along or else

I actually did witness the "Monkey Love" from the bleachers.

I'm still in shock hahahaha!!!!!

 

I was really suprised. I figured someone would drop trou or at least fly the bird. Never happened. What a respectable group of young men - oh and ladies.

 

Boy, its been awhile since anyone gave me that compliment, hell Dale Wilch even quit calling me young man.

We'll have to see what excitement we can stir next year.

I object to the whole cheerful spirit of this thread. It isn't fair that this event is held in the center of the world, Joplin, MO., leaving those of us on the ragged, fraying edges of the empire once again starving to death in our cultural backwater. No fair.

It sure looks like a success. I never before thought about lugging a car half way across the country for a drag race. I just might do it now.

The group shot taken from this somewhat emotionally detached high angle diffuses the effect of the many individual sins. You all look like a nice bunch of folks.

Serves you Californian's right. All of the cool **** is in Cali or the west coast. This is the one thing we got around here. Please don't take it from us. One weekend a year its hotrods and drags. The rest of the year it's camaros and 4x4's. Now..... back to my Skynard CD.

No crack, I found something even more addicting. In addition to the Bonneville salt, I've been including just a pinch of Big Olds burnt rubber in each batch.
