I stopped into a local shop that specializes in hot rod suspensions with my t-bucket and he recommended 80-90 lbs springs and any good shock, and said that would soften up the bounce..Is the problem a rough ride, or excessive bounce/rebound?

She rides rough. I have been living with it, but always suspected it could be better. I don't want a lot of bounce, just a little more comfort. What are you using?

The QA-1 adjustable shocks have a unbelievable amount of spring rate from so soft you bottom out to so hard they practically move. HRP

Do your self a favor. As long as your willing to step up for good stuff, call ElPolacko at Industrial Ch***is. He sells the Bilstien stuff and it is in mind without any doubt the very best. Anything you order through him will be custom done for your car. I can't say enough about the shocks they set up for me under the Plymouth.

FYI - Those are single adjustable, so you can only adjust the rebound, not compression. I've used those before, they are good shocks and the available springs are many and cheap. You might consider the double adjustable version in your case.
