Do any of you know what type of steering box this is?

Looks like a slick setup for a channeled deuce.

    Thanks,

    HT

I have seen this or one almost identical in the Speedway catalog. The oval track cars liked this type of setup and it gave then the room for the engine and exhaust without losing any space. Many of the Old Skool Hot Rod Roadsters liked this type of steering option.

A Willys 77. Great that will be easy to find. I thought it might be one of the obscure ones;)

Nostalgia 59. You wouldn't happen to have a pic of a Willys 77 steering box would you? I have scoured the Internet for one and have so far come up empty handed. Well except for the pics from this thread. They actually came up in my search for Willys 77 steering box. I guess I shouldn't be so surprised.

**Edit- I found a pic of a Willys 77 steering box and discovered that Nostalgia59 is a sharp one. Thanks again!

    Normbc9. Thanks for your input.

  5. The Willys box was commonly used because it fit well around a larger engine.
