Yup, there's snow out this way too. My falcon's gotta deal with a tarp this winter though.

    ( SEATTLE)

When I lived in Las Vegas , some guy from Seattle was complaining that he had been there for a week and it had not rained a drop. He asked how much rain we got a year -- I told him about 6--7 inches . He laughed and said "thats nutthin"
---- I told him -- "you ought to be here the day we get it!
Now I live in Fraser ,Colorado-- Fraser calls itself "the icebox of America" and the whole valley depends on SNOW and SKIERS for a living -- and we got NONE so far!

    Ain't only Florida does that!
IN about 1950, my family moved from Washington state to Yuma , AZ in the middle of December --- My older brother ,19, and 10 year old me wanted to go swimming , the temp was like high summer to us. The pools were ALL closed fdor the winter -- no problem for us -- there were NO pools where we came from -- just lots of irrigation c****s-- Yuma had them too. SO-- into the c**** we went, in nothing flat the fire dept. and the cops showed up -- TO RESCUE US!! Every body ***umed we must have FALLEN in accidently -- it was WINTER!!
BY the time the next winter came around , WE were also wrapped up in coats in December.

Colorado is begging for snow, we have been 15-20 degrees above normal and dry.

Pussies....for ****s sake put some clothes on and go out and enjoy Winter, it's only here for a few months. The Outlaw Snowmobile Drags will be here in January. Nothing like seeing a sled run over 150 in the 1/8 mile, in downtown no less! Then there's the motorcycle ice races, studded cl***es are crazy! Take the kids sledding, go hunting, ice fishing, skiing, (not for me) or one of the many other things you can only do in Winter. I used to feel sorry for places that didn't have a real Winter, now i know it's a special thing to live in Michigan where we actually have four seasons. And shop time is great too, if you're not too busy.

I knew it was coming, So last friday I took the 49 Merc for a spinn around town. Came back and took the bike for a spinn, Then the pickup. Think I got it covered for a little while. Of course if it warms up , the garage door just might go back up...

Hmmmmmmm, no snow back home in Perth - anytime of the year - not even any frosts.
Sure, it gets to 110F in summer, but we can live with that.
We've been living in England for the last year - brrrrrrrrrrr.
They're predicting snow flurries over the next week.
Plus, the days are sooooooooooo short!!!
I might go home - I miss the sun and the warmth.

This thread was not what I was expecting, I read it as..Great ***s here...snow. I think either wishful thinking or need gl***es.

Oh, and I'm also in the 100deg + currently

  16. Ice Fishing, hmmm interesting, just what bait do you use to catch the Ice? How does the Ice take the bait? I think there must be better things to do!

    SEND IT HERE!

I just got a brand new snowmobile last Wednesday and I'm feelin' the need for speed.

Until that happens, I guess I'll just keep fabricating on the ch***is for the pickup.

Here is a choice for you.
Snow. fun to play in and goes away after a while
You could have it worse. Forest Fires/mudslides/earthquakes/hurricanes/tornadoes/extreme heat waves.
    I'll take NY any time.

Just moved here to Az. from Mi. to leave the snow behind. Got tired of the 2 seasons in Mi. Winter & July. Tho' one of the locals here told me it snows here once in awhile if you sleep too late you'll miss it. Thats fine with me. I cant wait to text friends back there "hows that 8-10 ins. of snow & 10 below wind chills working for ya?".

We have been lucky so far here in the middle of Kansas, it was in the 60's yesterday and I just had to get my car out for a cruise. Other year's we are already deep in winter by now.

Doesn't NY get hit with hurricanes these days? Seems like I saw something on the news recently...

Too bad California is full of weirdos and the laws ****...you guys might like it here;)

Seriously, we're full. Sorry. Don't even come to visit...it's just a gateway drug.

  30. We have snowmobile races here in Florida several times a year, never colder than 80-85 degrees out either! Front of the sled doesn't touch the ground for the whole 1/8 mile, totally bad ***!. Usually the same day as the All Harley Drags, not a place to use the " pussies " word unless you are suicidal.
