Back in 1956 I built a custom 50 Merc coupe. It had frenched 53 Buick headlights, 46 Lincoln door ****ons, frenched 53 Hudson taillights, leaded hood and trunk, modified hood in front, mitered windsheald gl***. In 1957 I sold the car and bought a 57 Pontiac Super Chief. I would like to know if the car still exixts. this took place in the Seattle area.

    Thanks for your help, Jerry

Right here buddy..... You tell "us" about you, your hot rod and things you may want to share with "us", so we get an idea about your hot roddin roots, so to speak. Then we look it over and chances are we say...

We covered 46-48 Lincoln door ****ons not to long ago and some said that they have never seen a custom, built back in the day, with these. I may use some on my 35 ford 3w and it is nice to here they were used in the 50's. The mods you did should help you locate your Merc. Good luck with you search.

FYI just add your intro to this thread. Tell us a little about yourself and how you got into hot rods and customs. Pretty easy and enjoy the site!

The car doesnt ring a bell. Did it have any magazine coverage? My own 49 Merc has had Lincoln ****ons since 1950

  9. Welcome Jerry, do you have any photos? Sounds like a car I'd love to see.
