Okay I have lurked on this sight for at least 7 years. I thought it was about time to become legit. I have learned a lot from you guys. Thanks for the tech articles and post about keeping things period correct. I'm only 30 but I love hot rods and customs from the 50's - early 60's. I own 2 1956 Cadillacs one coupe deville and one 4 door. I also have a model a sedan. I might be a little odd ball because I haven't seen many Cadillac customs or sedan race/show rods in the little books I own from that time, but that's what I intend to build, good Lord willing.

Thanks for the welcomes everyone. Sorry I haven't responded. I've been busy getting married and trying to get setteled. Yadda yadda. I have been trying to get my Cadillac engine together. I actually want to get the Cadillac running for the wedding but Murphy's law took over. I sent the heads to get ported and new stainless valves installed. Well, they overpowered them so the intake bolted on and you could still see the tops of ports in the heads! Luckily the company is going to replace the heads.
