hello, I have a question to those of you who run tom langdon's carter-weber setup. do I need carb spacers between intake and the adapter? Who runs them or not on the 216/235/261? thank you!
I have two sets and one is on a Thickstun and the other a Fenton intake. Neither needed any spacer and both have worked flawlessly for over two years. Normbc9
I've got 'em on my '52. No spacers, but I did use his adapters to mount them to my old offy manifold. They work very well.
Maybe this photo will help you. From this position I installed the manifold and coupled up the fuel line and cable linkage I fashioned and the engine started up after a few cranks. It still runs good today and it has about 12,000 miles on it now. Normbc9
ok, so no carb spacers required, that question is solved now my adapterplates from langdon are different, but what really makes me scratch my head is that your carbs are turned 90°
