Help with Model A coupe wood dimensions.

    What width and thickness are the roof bows in a 30/31 coupe. I am making my own and don't have any old ones to copy.

    13/16w x 1"h Check the notch depth on the side pieces, should be about 5/8" So you'll need to cut a 3/8" notch out of the bottom of each bow side.

    I looked all over for the wood dim. For a 30 truck. I could have made it all but I guess its a big secret. I got tired of looking and just bought the damn wood kit from Macs. Come to think of it why didn't I make patterns before I installed it. What a dummy.

    Thanks that helps a lot 30 model A. Yea mikes29 I probably wouldn't have thought to make patterns either but if I end up buying a kit in the future I'll make sure I do. I got a whole pile I've really nice oak given to me so I'm going to make it if I can.
