New issue (2/13) of Car Craft has a comparison of Windsor heads. I've not read it yet so I don't know if its exactly what you're looking for. The engine is a Boss 302 used for testing. There is also an intake comparison later in the same issue. Hoping something in the info is useful.
I bought a set of no-name aluminum heads off ebay, came complete and was amazed at the quality. Have them on my 347 stroker and work very well. I paid less than 500 bucks shipped.
What sir exactly would you like to know? I know Jon Kaase, and his work and design as a Engine Builder speaks volumes. I am assuming you are referring to his P38 Cylinder head for the SBF. Without going into detail, the valves have been " canted " similiar to a Big Block Chevrolet, but less angularity. They require you to use his valve covers, and a small flycut to be used with your current pistons. Diamond makes pistons according to Jon's design that do not require flycutting. If you are unfamiliar, Diamond Pistons are first class items. AFR, well that company speaks for itself when it comes to cylinder heads. These I have much experience with, and yes on large SBF engines. When I design a new combo I will first look to AFR, then Dart, and Brodix every time. In my professional opinion, you can NOT go wrong with either company and thier cylinder head offerings, all the best, TR
Just read this yesterday: http://www.jegs.com/photos/jegskaase.html and this:http://www.jegs.com/p/JEGS-Performance-Products/JEGS-Kaase-SB-Ford-Cylinder-Heads/752658/10002/-1 but no price listed, that's scary Seems the guys at www.sbftech.com lean toward Trick/Flows on SBF's a shootout would be fun stuff.
