Had to give it some dignity so my neighbor and i went over grabed it and put in in his garden with the other yard art.
Any clue as to the year?

32 or 33. Look on google images. One year was chromed rad, and I thought the other year was painted shell. I think it's a 32 without looking it up.

Jabberwoki, I think about 1931 or 32. It was cool of you to save it so it can at least be a source of reflection and conversation. Pretty far gone for much more, though you could get osme general measurements, right?

I stand corrected. I was leaning toward '32 but hedged the wrong way. FDR & Eleanor had one.

I looked up a 32 and what a beautiful car it once was . I`m glad it`s still giving people pleasure now in the garden.
And no it won`t buff out.

At first I thought you found Hernando DeSoto who was buried in his armor in 1542.

Save the dignity of the DeSoto, don't put a SBC close to it.

Doesn't look like there's anything there to be saved, so it's good to see it resting in peace.

I've seen lots of guys on this board start with worse than that. No reason you shouldn't spend 5 years of your life and $100K fixing it up. Don't let the naysayers get you down. Never, ever give up. Eagle Spirit never dies.
