Congrats on the find !! I'm a sucker for the odd colors. Not your typical vette ones like red, black, blue etc. 56/57 aztec copper 61/62 fawn beige and saddle tan. Oh, and torq thrusts with red lines for sure.
    Here's a pic of my 57... PA261031.JPG

I have always considered myself as a traditional rod guy, but I must admit that the mid year 'Vettes, especially the coupes, are a work of art. Didn't think I would ever own one.

However, I was able to trade an IndyCar (2002 G-Force with motor) last week for a beautiful '64 coupe. I really love this damn thing....now a Prick Member I guess!!!

went with a buddy few years back- to Avery Idaho- end of a state road was a bar & an old hotel-behind the hotel was in 5 ' snow & (it was may) was covered with 7 blankets a origional 1961 vette with hardtop. Had been parked there 7 years - I asked friend if he brought his checkbook-said yes -darn it =paid 6k for the car - we went back in late june - had to still shovel it out from some snow -loaded on trailer & brought it home. after some prep& fluids changing it started up =ran fine . He is now in process of a total rebuild on
all. My 67 bb coupe with LS6 is still sitting in the barn - someone want it ?? ya =pricy someone will get that barn find soon hehe only owned it 42 years now

Wow, I love black/black coupes. Congrats! Looks like a beauty.

  7. Hopefully you haven't let is sit for that long. 42 years of making epic memories with a bad muther would be where it's at.

  11. Just when I was liking all that was happening you say Tourque Thrusts! Damn I am a closed minded old bastard that think any of that mag lookin stuff is for race cars. Just a steel wheeler forever I guess. Congrats on a beautiful Vette bro! ~sololobo~

    Nice find!

I don't care what kind of tires you put on it. Drive it hard and enjoy!
