Can I stick the better looking '35 truck grill on my '36 truck? Is the hood to grill angle the same?

I am trying to use the '35 grill with the '36 hood and my fenders won't fit worth a ****..it is like the grill is at a funny angle and the front fender bolts that tie into the grill aren't even close.

Roothawg and your '35, '36 truck knowledge...where the hell are you????

    Thanks, -Abone.

The truck and all parts are regular 1/2 ton not big goofy commercial stuff by the way..

the differents in 35 front fenders 36 37 are the 35 bead below the bracket doesn,t have a slot. so you have to take the bumper of a 35 1/2 to get the fender off

The sheetmetal will fit up fine, My 35 started life as a 36. The major issue I had was the the 35 grill shell wouldnt fit on the 36 radiator. The radiators are different. I used the 36 hood top with the 35 sides.

The continuous bead on the lower front of the fender wont affect how the grill fits. I didnt realize the fenders were different... interesting! I had to go back to look at 35 pics to see what you were talking about, You learn something everyday!
