Hello all! I hail from phoenix Arizona. I just bought a '63 Falcon Ranchero and I am anxious to get started fixing her up. It's always been a dream of mine to rebuild a cl***ic. Any advice would be appreciated. I'm going to start with rust and dent repair, but the first big project will be conversion from 4 lug to 5 lug. I figured at the same time I will put in the air ride suspension. Let me know what ya think! There are some awesome rides here, so excited to be a part of the H.A.M.B.!
Welcome from Texas you will find a lot of info on this site.My Dad always said a smart person learns from their mistakes but a smarter person learns from others. So spend a lot of time on the plan and ask a lot of questions save yourself some money.Anyway if I can be of help to you just ask and enjoy the Build.
Tonight at mcdonalds on central and south of indian school there are some fellow hambers that meet up there. Its a good time to be had. I will not be theee due to my stupidity not taking my medicine.
Welcome from downtown Phoenix. No shortage of awesome stuff to do around here. I'll be back out at the Az State Fairgrounds in the morning for the swapmeet. I see you are in to Falcons. Be sure to get to know Chip Quinn (Need Louvers?) on here, he has a few Falcons, and knows a bunch about them. Feel better soon Steve.
Welcome to the HAMB. Im also in Phoenix and know Falcons pretty well. Im always good to lend a helping hand if needed. Is this a frequent meeting?
Howdy Leppylou! Chip Quinn or "need louvers ?" here! Welcome and good to see another hapless Falcon soul out in the world. If I can be of any help let me know. I live in downtown Phoenix and have been screwing around with Falcons since I bought my '62 62c sedan in 1982, and hot rods even longer. Do check out the Central ave MacDonalds as Bodi said tonight, fun and I should be up there with my wagon.
Yep, every weekend after dark on Saturday night.[/QUOTE] Thanks! Hopefully i can make an appearance next week.
I too am a newbie from AZ, Chandler,AZ. I was on a hunting trip recently and found a 1926-27 Model T coupe body in the desert that I am looking at turning into a rat rod. I am looking forward to picking everyone's brains, to gain the knowledge and know how to make this idea a reality. I have always loved the rat rod style, and uniqueness that it brings. Truely works of art, and fun in their own rights.
