Greetings! I have been a lurker on this site for a loooooong time. The reason I never signed up until now is because although I wanted a hot rod, I never had one. That is of course, until now. A few months ago I got this wild idea that I wanted to build a T-bucket. I looked into it a bit, and realized it was WAY out of my price range and decided to move onto something else. I started going to more and more car shows and rod runs this year, seeing more and more buckets and roadsters. I knew I couldn't afford to build one, but that never killed my interest. It wasn't until I mentioned to a friend of mine that I wanted to build one that something was done about my urge to build a hot rod. He explained how I could do it the way I wanted, and on a budget. He also tracked down the project in question for me. I'm really into the vintage drag look, low slung, open headers, blower scoops etc, so that is how I will theme my bucket. You folks have a great message board here and I look forward to finally posting on it!

I got the good one in the shop ready to start dismantling. Even got the passenger door open and the drivers door wedged on. Figure I might as well make it resemble a car for the before pictures. Looks like I'll be ordering that mig welder this week too. I can't wait to start ripping into this little creation.
