Anyone know where you can track down a set of headers like this? For a GM Conventional head (Winters Snowflake head) BBC in a 35-40 Ford Frame?? Or are these something that would have to be made up? IF so any suggestions on a set of headers that would say get me 1/2 way there that could be cut and modified to fit in an old Ford G***er?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank You.

saw those wasn't sure if there was enough bends to do the zoomie without buying 2 kits for the correct bends. Thank You.
Sandersons are like 700 bucks. And to not know if they would work either little steep.

I started with a prewelded set of flanges/stubs and several long and short leg J-bends from Speedway. Not hard, just time consuming. Summit sells a part from Hedman (I think) that makes joining and holding the tubing sections together prior to welding. I think they are called "weld rings" or "spring weld rings". They are "springy'' fit inside the tubing, and when compressed, they match the inner diameter of the tubing, allowing the joining of the tubing ends for welding.

I tacked mine with my mig and gave them to a buddy to tig.....much nicer than welding/grinding.

I'm not smart enough to add pictures to this message.....PM your direct email and I can send them direct.

  6. That's more a raked back zoomie than it is a header , no ?

Is it blown? Usually only super g***ers ran individual pipes. Also what year are you going for? Up to the mid 60's you had to have a collector. It didn't have to be long but it had to have one. At least in NHRA not sure on other sanctions

  8. Those are zoomies by far the easiest to make, buy a flange, then go to the muffler shop and get them to bend separate tubes. Weld them to the flange and then weld a piece of steel strap to the bottoms or tops of the tubes to keep them where you want them.

You can also try Tubular Automotive, 248 Waymouth St., Rockland, M***., 02370, 781 878 9875. I've bought three or four kits from them.

Complex runs can take 4-5 days to build. Unless your last name is...Sibley or Grote! ;)

Here's a set for sbc in a 40 that I made from Speedway flanges, u bends, and j bends. These fit through between the inner fender and the body without t******* anything. You would have to trim the inner fender and go outside the frame for your zoomies. It took a couple of weeks to build mine ; yours should take 1/2 of that or less.
