Does anyone know the procedure to get a ad deleted? I can't do it with my own edit as that option is not available. I've sent pm's to what I believe are moderators but get no answer.

Perhaps there is a particuliar person who has this power to delete.

    please help, thanks

Not sure since I'm still wet behind the ears around here.

But if all else fails, you can simply edit your post/s in the ad and remove all the content.

You don't need to delete it just click on the "edit" box then click on the "go advanced" that will take you to a page where you can edit your post and your title.

That does not allow the change to the ad price, which is wrong. It just seems to me that a moderator would delete this ad and I can rewrite with correct info.

I tried many times to just get the header price changed. Seems like this would be simple, or allow a member to delete their own ad.

I guess I could delete all the text and let it alone, or make a whole new ad. Again, this seems sily to do. id rather do it correct.

Send a pm to a moderator

  6. If you posted the ad after the recent changes (No one can post on your ads); you should be able to select "thread tools" at the top of the thread and then select "delete thread" at the bottom of the drop down in moderation tools.

But if you posted the ad prior to the new changes (When one could post on your ads); And someone did post on your ad, then only a moderator can delete the thread. This is due to the fact if you erase your thread, not only do you lose post count(s) but the person(s) that posted on your ad(s) also lose post count(s)

Thanks to all who had suggestions. I did a PM to a mod to delete ad. I can re-post should it not sell tomorrow with new text and most likely lower the price a tad and ad pics.
