"Hey Y'all" from East Texas

New to the HAMB. Short story: bought a 1949 KB1 almost 30 years ago when I was a kid, drove it for a couple years, decided to "go thru it", took it apart, life called, sat under a tarp and/or in a shed for 25 years(the truck, not me), went a few weeks ago with my youngest son(16) and drug it home, junk yard last week and salvaged an XJ6 suspension, reading IronMaiden's threads with veneration, looking forward to driving Beulah once again.

 

I'll bet you're glad that you saved it, as I'm sure your son is! Have a blast and welcome. Whereabouts in east tx?
