Hello. As I stated in another thread, I am searching for any and all pics and articles relating to Mousie Brown. I am Mousie's son and we are currently restoring a 66 Biscayne to be a replica of the Brown and Walker Secret Storm car he ran. Also, to correct a post from a few years ago by someone, Mousie is alive and well, living in NC. Thanks for any help anyone may be able to offer.
again, welcome here. good to hear he is indeed alive and well. here's a better picture, from a great one....
I'm very glad to see you here and hear that Mousie is alive and well. I was the one who was searching for information about him and his race cars. I was told by someone else that he had died. The reason for my search was that I owned a '61 Belair race car that someone had told me was once owned by Mousie. As it turned out, I found the guy who had raced it and sold it back to him. He unfortunately has passed on. That car was called the Mouse Trap. Verne PS: IF you do a search on here, you should find many photos of your Dad's cars (a lot of which I posted) PPS: If you wouldn't mind, I"d love to hear stories of the drag team and Annabelle Walker's involvement.
I remember those ad's from back in the day. Back then I was good to have two quarter's to rub together !!!
Here you go. I thought I posted this yesterday but for some reason, it didn't show up. Maybe I did something wrong??
thanks verne, thought i'd had it saved. i see it's a '66, any idea which class it ran, with that teardrop hood?
Thanks for the pic. I am sure he would love to speak to you sometime. If you can pm me I can put you in touch with him.
Kenny Worell frequently match raced the '50 Olds from Schaum's Garage it was a beautiful dark green in color. Schaum's garage is located on Haunted Lane in Croydon Pa and is still around. My brother Jim bought the Pack Rat car from Kenny and campaigned it with Maurice Petruzzi.
