if i was to use a newer style eaton supercharger like this one.... could i run a weber carburator where the throttle body would be? or are these style blowers only meant to accept air flow????
Try it and lets us know how it works. I would guess it is designed to handle air may not be sealed for fuel.
well i dont own one just yet. i was thinking about buying one of these eatons verses lets say the faithful 671 roots style because you can pickup these eatons on ebay for around $500. the 671 is more like $1500 on a good day. the question just poped into my head about the fuel entry point and figured i would ask before i buy
That would work fine. All roots type blowers are the same. Ford did this intake tub so it would fit under the hood. The throttle body has ****er flies just like the weber carbs.
No problemo. They use carbs on some applications. http://www.carcraft.com/featuredvehicles/116_0609_supercharged_350ci_chevy/viewall.html Your challenges will be linkage and packaging. jack vines
It won't work for more than a day..well at least that's what I was told 2 years ago. Mine works just fine...see avatar..
