  3. that is what happens when i invite you guys over.
this truck was built after the model came out with permission from monogram. it was real close to the model, if i remember right, the only big difference was the model had an iron cross shaped rear window.

I could be wrong, but I think it was on Ebay a year or 2 ago, or it was another Daniels rod.

I saw during one of the big car show weekends in Pigeon Forge several years ago, it was parked along the main drag at night. Couldn't believe it, totally awesome ride, never saw it again that weekend.

The 1:1 scale one didn't have chain drive, did it? The 1/24 scale one did, that was one of the highlights. CHROMED chain drive with latterbars!!!

  13. no chain drive and it actually should have been made to scale a little larger, was a cramp in the ass [literally] to drive
Mark, i don't want to buy the truck, i was just wondering what happened to it.

Sorry I can't help but wasn't there a Stroh's beer truck as well? Not the yellow roadster but a really 70's looking stake bed if I remember right...
or maybe that's all just a Stroh's induced hallucination...

  20. i think i do remember seeing a stroh's truck at carliles truck nationals. or maybe mecungie car show. either way stroh's gave me a headache not hallucinations.:D

We saw the Beer Wagon for sale at a cruise night in Seekonk, MA in the summer of 2010. We were told that it was owned by a classic car dealer from Swansea, MA.

I was wondering where that was too. I saw it in the late 80's for sale on the side of the road in NH, it was only about $2500 for it if I remember correctly. I was a teen then so I didn't have the cash then, but I remember I wanted it bad.
from what I remember it had IFS and looked like it was built on a small truck frame. the seat was small as heck, the bottom was flat without much padding and the seatback was mounted flat to the back wall of the cab. there was probably about 18" between the firewall and the seat, creating very cramped foot room.
I don't remember much else, but I have thought about building one for many years but I've never actually started.
can you sent me bigger pics of the ones in the first post, or more?
