Hi, some of you might know me but just let me re introduce my self .I am Bruce Fischer.I reside in the beautiful mountians of East T. N. I have lived here for the past 16 years.I had a shop some 30 years ago since then done comeracial roofing up north, then moved to Flordia and drove truck for 10 years, then relocated here to east.T.N. Then worked in a nursing home for the last 11 years in mantanice and a little of every thing else there.I had to retire last Feb. due to having wearing all the cartlage out in both ankles due to truck driving for the roofing co.and the trucking out fit in Flordia.Had 2 total ankle replacements on my left and both have failed .So getting around it tough now. I have always loved old cars. When i worked for the roofing co. up north i drove a 1956 buick special a total of overe 100 miles back and forth daily. My love always have been wagons. I have had a 64 ford woody wagon {man i miss that car} a 62 buick electra, a 66 ford wagon and than a 1964 buick electra station wagon.I traded that for a 1956 chrysler windsor{HERE ON THE H.A.M.B.} and drove it all year back and forth to work unless it snowed.Just sold it and got the wagon i always wanted.A 1956 buick special station wagon. She had been in storage for the last 18 years.I am slowly coxing it back to life. The body is in pretty good shape but, need a drivers side floor pan.Been having some starter problems with it {which i have posted on here and gotten a lot of help}I turn the key to on hit the started button and it starts but wont shut off.Everyone thinks the switch is wired wrong. She also had no brakes and now i am working on them now.Anyone wants to talk just P.M. me. Nice to meet you all Bruce.
