i have a factory sbc intake, casting # 3877656 with the snow flake on the #1 runner. someone please tell me what type of chevy this came off of. i know its a327 350 hp, but what vehicle. what are they worth and are they very rare. thanks Dave
This is an O/T intake and you have not done a formal greeting.... 66/67 chevy high rise, 327 / 350 HP, Holley pattern. ONLY if it has NOT been sandblasted it can be worth up to $500.00
for future reference any time I need to ID a chevy part I just google the number. 99 times out of 100 google comes up with the answer.
OK, he will be beaten to death for no intro and asking a question. But how off topic is he? We have so many people running later engines, tunnel rams, later intakes etc we are gonna worry about this? I run the same intake and love it. I just dont open my hood so you can't see the incorrect oil fill cap I have. PS-I did find the application for my intake on google as well.
I collect them or I should say that they collect around me. They really are not worth much, I think I gave 25 bucks for one once. I almost always have one and I use them alot, just because I have one and they work.
I think that was a popular casting used for the 66-67 L79 Corvette if I recall correctly. I haven't kept up on prices since I don't do restorations anymore but you should be able to get some idea on ebay.
it probably doesn't make any difference if he has or not , he hasn't been here in 1-1/2 years to answer you. i think he may have gotten scared off
