Could this be a vintage dash light ?

    Well i was scrounging today and came across this vintage light and i was thinking maybe universal dash light ?

    Looks like it would be an under dash light ....The dash lights were usually shrouded so the light only shown on the gauges.

    Still a cool light!

    Thanks Clark , honestly i really have no idea it may end up on my old schwinn lol

    My grandma had a bedside light that looked like that, for reading at night. Might also be an old boat piece.

    It is an underhood light; the rubber ****on is held down in off postion by the underside of hood.
    The light itself there and its switch are identical to the hood light offered on Fords 1946-8...the bracket is different, so this is for some other application. Length of bracket and long slots strongly suggest that this is a universal aftermarket version.
