A week or so ago I posted pics of the front discs, rear drums, and rear end the PO transplanted into my '57 Chevy 3100. Turns out that the front brakes were from a mid-70s intermediate GM car (Speedway Kit), and the rear was a 2.73 posi from a '72 - '73 full size Pontiac.

While I'm not thrilled with the highway gears in the rear, it's still good to know what I have.

Here's why I'm posting...the PO set up the rear drums without any self adjusting hardware and without the parking brake. I got all the necessary parts from Napa, but it's going to a be a bit of a pain in the *** to figure out how everything goes together, mainly the self adjusting hardware.

Anyone have a pic/diagram of early-mid 70s full size GM drum brakes? I've searched online, but haven't found anything that resembles the parts that I have.

    Thanks in advance...
