I love the way you folks Down Under value the 4-door Tri-Fives as highly as the 2-doors.
We're still a little uptight about the 4-doors here in the States.

I would love a 2 door but over here they start at 20 thousand and need full resto, mine was 10 thousand and needed a full rebuild so i was already 10 infront and had some extra doors to load the cattle in easier :). I'm just happy to own any american car no matter how many doors mate, Over here we were bought up with more 4 door cars than 2 doors so i think we are use to it, i have had a lot of comments over the years though that it's only a 4 door and why did i waste my time, but like i say if we all have the same life would be boring. cheers mate;)

Here is my 56. I wish I knew the history on it. Bought it in Connecticut from a widow. Has a roll bar, drive shaft loop, semi-radiused wheel wells, and lots of other racing parts. After a lot of work, it is now driven almost daily.

Wow, I don't usually care for '56's, but that's the nicest one I've ever seen.
    Can we see more photos?

Here are a couple shots of my friends 56 post. He now is running a Mooneyham 671 on the car, I haven't seen or heard it yet, but he is much happier with it over the tunnel ram I guess.
