I had Cokers on my 55, installed by previous owner in 2002.
In 2011 with about 13000 miles one tire had a sidewall blow out.
Tire shop said it was tire failure, not road damage.
All the white had hairline cracks and were hard to keep white.
After installing new tires I noticed how rough and how bad the Cokers handled.
I'll go with Diamondback next set.

I havent run them yet but I just bought four 6.00-16 Coker cl***ic, black walls, bias ply through that auction site on summits online store, I was going to buy firestones direct from Coker but I saved a few hundred going through summit and getting the cl***ics. They also shipped free, Coker wants like another 120 to ship their tires. I think firestones look better but for the money saved I doubt anyone else would know the difference. As far as people talking about white walls turning yellow, thats what they do, some bleach white ww cleaner cures that problem in 5 minutes.

I had lots of trouble with my Cokers, switched to Diamond Back and put 70,000 mile on my first set.

I get an Alliance discount through Coker, but dont want to buy just because they are cheaper. I want to buy what will last and looks good. Great to hear reviews from guys who run both, and what their experiences are, Thanks

I had Diamndbacks on a 1963 Bentley S3. The car weighed about 5000 pounds and the ride was great! White walls were nice and bright. I have the old Coker Cl***ics on my '40 and they are a little bit yellowish.

Got Diamondbacks on 34 ford roadster and have driven coast to coast with them and no problems. Putting them on my wife's 32 ford coupe for the trip to LARS again this june for father's day . She's driving hers and I'm driving mine again to Calif.

I like the diamond backs but keeping the air is very importent ! I got mine new but they sat for 5 years on the floor in my shop' the dealer gave me no information on them. so When i put them on i ran 32 lbs like most other tires. well the white wall split. I called and i told them what happen he said they run 45 lbs tuff luck. I asked for the owner and what a hell of a nice guy four new tires I paid shipping and had no other issue. great Biz. I know guys running coker and as said they are good tires buy yellow fast. both good companys

One set of Coker Cl***ic WWW Radials would balance, no issue with the other set. Also have a set of Diamond Back and they are good.

I've got a bunch of miles on mine that are on the roadster and they have stayed white and in great shape. Good ride. Good service from Coker, with fast shipping when I ordered them.

Had good luck with Diamondback, too, but I took advantage of that Coker Alliance Discount when I was looking.
