Dude, you've seen my car. How am I spozed to carry beer, food, and chairs? Guess I'll have to pull a trailer.
I'm not a Nightmare either but I sometimes pretend to be one so I can hang out with all of the cool Flint Nightmares. I might try to hide in jdubba's trunk and sneek in. If I drive I'll park around the corner. Wouldn't want the "goldchainer' label hung around my neck. Frank
frank you are welcome to come man and please bring the ride. we have two houses and 10 acres to seperate anybody. most of the other club guys are flaming pistons or cruisers. they will be next door my place is for hard core home built **** that is baddd ***s also bikes.
Joe just clued me in to this post... I will try like hell to be there, it sounds fun. I'm just not sure if the 55 will handle that long of a road trip... Is this a family friendly event, or a car guy event? Lemme know!
steve the family is always welcome. my 3 kids and wife will be there so any body that wants to bring family can. thats what this car stuff is all about. btw ithink the 55 can handle 5 miles i here it had a good builder that knows a thing or two about building cool cars also any friends with cool rides are welcome i know there are a few locally that are not nightmares thats ok stop by anyway
I'll be there (Not sure if I'll drag the fam along or not). Just a heads up to those of you not from the area, this section of Dodge road is ****TY. go SLOW! Looking forward to seeing all of you there! (well, all except Joe, he smells funny...)
ALRIGHT ALREADY, I'LL BE THERE! Geez, you guys are relentless. Frank, you can hide in my trunk and I'll let you out when we get there, really. My calendar is pretty open so far so plan on the Donz to make an appearance. Will there be dancing girls?
ok, plans have been altered...i will be there for sure...even bringing the "crack ball" ....an addictively good meat and cheese delight. looking forward to it. see you on sunday!!!!
Met a guy tonite at a cruise I might try to drag out there. Guy named Curt from Goodrich. Just got a KILLER '34 Ford truck on the road. 59AB Flatty, 5 speed, banjo rear, split bones, the works. Really cool guy. Hope that's all right.
Pete, would that be considered a boy date? I spoke to him on friday, seems like a good guy, and the truck is cool too.
Just got home, and had a great time. The Purdy compound was the place to be. I wish I would have remembered to bring my camera. Thanks again, and tell your old man that his shin-dig wasnt all bad for a bunch of old dudes. For any of the GMB's, Primer and the rest of the Michigan Cruisers, put on a monthly car cruise at the A&W in Flushing, and it is one of the best cruise nights around. Thanks again -Joe
Yes, thanks to Primer (Stacy) and his family for inviting us to his homestead. There weren't any "dancing girls" but the ladies that were there were sure nice to look at. And plenty of food and good conversation. His dad, Dave, had a little party going on "down the trail" that got my attention (I've seen all those Nightmare "rat rods" before) with a whole slew of cool customs. Merc, Chevy, Olds, Buick, Caddy and even a Mustang (MUSTANG?!?). And most of these cars weren't built yesterday, these were cars with history. I got a kick out of them coming over to look at our rides (that didn't take long). They were very "polite". Oh, and at the next GMB get together we expect Steve (Hot Rod To Hell) to bring some of his "special" brownies.
