Went on a road trip, brought back an old hotrodded 32 chassis.

  1. He came down a little but I didn't think his asking price was bad for what's there

Yeah, is it Z'ed in front?

I'd save up for a Brookville roadster body and put it on that chassis. Would be real neat with the nerf bars you talked about.

  6. Oh yeah, I forgot about that and see it now. The gift that keeps on giving :D

  7. I think the front is swept up a little. I am not a 32 guy and do not really know what the fenders really attach stock. If they have holes on he outer edges that bolt "up" into the wheel well then I do not see why not. All of these have had some work done to them for sure, but the overall shape (except the bobbed ends) look stock and are in excellent shape. No cracks or repairs.

    Thats a real find there!

  9. So anyone have any guesses on the seat? I can't figure out its origin and its driving me nuts!!

  10. I wanted to say Nash Metropolitan, but just went out and checked and the shape is a little different.

I was thinking something along those lines as well.

Great score. I soo would give chassis a place in my garage and that would give me a chance to build a bitchin hotrod

  17. This seat is way too small. I first thought 55-57 T bird, but they are a little different.

Do you know what the plans are for the body that was on it,I am kind of afraid to ask since it will probably get built into a bellybutton streetrod.

Damn shame the body got separated from the chassis for a new build, glad to see at least the chassis went to someone who appreciates it for what it is.

Crap...I was even in Boise all last week. Do you think Southwest would have considered that a checked bag back to Milwaukee?

I would "recreate" it as an "old" hotrod by using a Model A body with those fenders and seat etc. Kinda preserve part of its history. You will find a Roadster body!

The first thing that I would work on is the TITLE.

With all the new street rod laws going around, it will soon be imposible to build something that you like. The though police are everywhere!
