I hope you realize just how valuable that 3 window coupe can be. Even if you have no desire for it, if it can be bought you could flip it to a hamber.
This is in the best place on earth to find projects Nebraska! Ha ha yea I know that coupe is worth a couple of dollars. Bought my 53 international off this guy but sadly he has passed. He was very reasonable on his prices. One of the few 50 plus year body men I have met. Anyone who can chop a top and metal finish it out has respect in my book. He tried selling me that panel wagon for 250 bucks
DAMN right skippy! i lived in G.I for 15yrs & have buds in Hastings,North Platte,Lincoln & the Big O. it really is a great place to find projects since scrap is down , Mikey D in North Platte junked 35 cars & trucks from 30-60's for scrap awhile back 'cause no one around wanted them (WTF!) to many on hand !
There is a couple of huge junk yards in alliance that he guys are crushing em has some bad ass rides in there. Always a shame
The pink truck next to the rear half of the four door looks pretty good - what is it? Studebaker perhaps?. David
I know the owner. This is private property. If you had permisiion from him to be on property, take pictures and post on a website then this is fine. If not - I will advise him and this thread should be removed from any website.
you posted a picture of the 3 window coupe on 8-7-12 it sounded like you were going to make a deal on it? apparently it hasn't happened yet http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=723543&highlight=doors
You are confusing this person and or neighbor with the incorrect property. THe current owner is alive and will not sell. Do not continue with the thread as you were on private property
Yeah, nice work...this thread was destintined to fall off the face of the earth and you brought it right back to the top for 2014. Although...there's no statute of limitations when someone calls you an asshat. JohnnyA
Some snapshots of recovered relics from barn and field, owned by or donated to Casa De Fruita. I did some searching for this place here, but found nothing. I'd be really surprised if these haven't been posted on the HAMB before. I'll let you guys figure out what they all are. I took about 150 photos there, just of old iron.
You must have just graduated from "The Internet Police Academy". Most of the new, fresh faced, guardians of the web are similarly gung ho. I'm sure you'll mellow out over time
For the anxious and jumpy, we have an on-line training course in how to mellow out. ;D In the meantime, we could simply sidetrack all that as I took 135 more photos of rusty metal bits... You wanna see some more cornbinders?
