After suffering from cancer this year and seemingly having beat it, Arnie Roberts p***ed away a month ago. He handcrafted many a dream rod and rail in drag's golden age, keeping his hands busy and mind creative at his home shop in Waikane Valley, Oahu til recently. RIP

Ridgerunner, I was at Indy that year too. Saw Chrisman run and have it all on film. Just had it put on a dvd. If I can figure out how to post it I will.

 

There is a video of the 64 and 65 nationals at Pomona on youtube, In one of them there are clear shots of my dad's 51 chevy g***er (black primer). wish I knew how to capture pictures from the video.
