G'day from another Aussie

Discussion in 'New to the H.A.M.B.? Introduce yourself here!' started by TheNOBBLER, Dec 15, 2012.

  1. G'day everyone,

I've been lurking around this site for years, soaking up what info I can and loving it all.

I am a motor trimmer by trade, I work on mainly 30's to 70's cars that range from resto's to full custom jobs. Traditional rides float our boat at work the most but mild customs are keeping my gears turning.

I have a 55 chevy more door that getting the mild treatment, I've owned it for a short while and have been cruising around with friends and family since, it's currently getting a driveline makeover along with some body mods and repairs.

Looking forward to checking out more grouse gear on this site.

    JP

Here's some before pics, will post up some progress pictures as they happen.

  5. Thankyou for the welcome. Sure is a big fast moving place this site!

HOTFR8, the building is the old chicory kiln in Bacchus Marsh, handy being at the end of my street!

I have family in Bacchus Marsh (Uncle used to be the Ford Dealer) so I know that building.

Do you by any chance travel to do your motor t******* work ? If so I know a place that may be keen to speak with you here in Castlemaine.

  7. Unfortunately I don't do much onsite work, well... Fortunately for me but not for others.

I do a little bit at home in the marsh but mainly I'm kept busy at work 6 days a week. Especially this week!

I work for a quite well known trimmer in the western suburbs so you are bound to have seen some of my work cruising around, on this site as well.

    Welcome from New York.

  13. Thanks for the thought HOTFR8, I am very time poor outside of work these days, having enough trouble keeping up with the work I've got on now!

And really, out this way it's always just down the road isn't it itsmee?

Thanks again for the welcomes and comments on the Chev, she's pretty rough but its getting there. If your the FAT57 I think then its certainly not up to the standard of your work!

Not all of this is my work alone, nor will I try to claim it is. I have had a hand in all the jobs and some like the 55 Chev and falcon coupe have been mine alone.

    Cheers, JP

I have seen your work before. Offer stands if you are interested and as I said the work would have to be done on site due to the size. If you want more details send me a PM.
