    Hi fellow HAMBers

Can anybody out there help me?

My uncle has asked me to help find some parts for his truck. It has a 300 cubic inch Canadian 6 cylinder motor and he needs to get a distributor cap, points, condensor and distributor rotor.

I'm in country Western Australia so am looking to get them from the US somewhere probably via a website.

Are Macs Auto Parts still in business and are they OK or would love any other suggestions of who else to try as I haven't heard back from them yet.

    Many thanks

Bumper to Bumper or NAPA will have all that stuff on the shelf in Canada. Google the Vancouver, B.C. phone book, they will send them today.

Howdy im in OZ too, Melbourne to be exact, Ive owned a few of these trucks myself over the years and although some parts can be challanging to find at times, generally, ignition parts like you are requesting are pretty easy to obtain in australia, I've purchased points, condensors, caps etc from Bursons, bosch still list all these parts in their catalogue, also the for 'D' SERIES trucks ran the canadian 6 as did most aussie 67 - late 72 f100's 250s and 350's, eagle auto parts in dandenong south vic(check them online) will have most of the parts you will need, as do Auto Surplus in thornton cres micham Vic, hope this helps out, Cheers Junkmn

    Thanks Junkmn

Maybe my uncle didn't try hard enough in Oz. Might be the favourite niece now though!

We had a D Series once and didn't consider that it might have the same motor.

    Cheers

Try telling them you have a '67 F-100 with a 240, should be the same stuff!
