Hi from southern Oregon. I started hot rodding in the early 50's in Minneapolis. I moved to Los Angeles in 56. Raced at Lion's Drag Strip in super stock and gas cl***es. I was an areo-space machinist for about 24 years and then moved to southern Oregon where I opened a motorcycle accessories shop. I retired 5 years ago. I have a 68 Chevy pickup that I put a later model disk brake front end in. It has a blue printed 350 with many hop up items, also have a 87 IROC Camaro, mostly stock with FI and auto overdrive. My interesting car is a '62 Pontiac 2dr hardtop. It had a super duty 421 engine that I still have, however I am building a 455 with all the goodies for it. I am trying to make it more streetable that the 421. I also have a '62 4 dr hardtop that I call my parts car although my 2 dr only has 36,000 miles on it so it does not need many parts. I have a 400 cu in motor for the 4 dr some day. I try to do everything myself on my vehicles. I am still learning all the time. I have two daily drivers also. a 96 3/4 ton GMC and a 2009 Malibu. I do't have a lot of money but I have a lot of disire. I went to Bo0nneville Speed Week in August as a spectator.
