  1. I don't know but I got crabs from a blower once. I decided to not go cheap after that.

Have the carbs already been modified for blower use?
They came with the blower that was on a running motor so I'm guess they are.

I'd just make sure that they have had the power valve signal referenced to pick up the signal below the blower. Do a search for "blower referenced PV" and you should find plenty of info and it's something you can do yourself. I've seen many setups where they have just pulled and blocked the PV and tried to compemsate with jets - but the result was never as good as one done correctly.

At this point I'm just going to use the block, crank, and rods and go back the way it needs to be. Thanks to all you guys for the input I'm sure i will be asking more about this as I go.

  7. Well I have seen some 4x4s around here that were pretty jacked up.

So how do you suppose that works, you roll up to the bus station, jump out and say, "Hey I'm a red neck, my mom and dad are cousins, ya wanna go back to my trailer with me?"

Also is this motor a dry sump???and why not just set it up for e-85 , and freshen, it up, and run it...??? I know a blower is cool , but it sounds like the motor may be built right already...Shawn

  9. The thing is that it is a morot that all it needs is freshening, or you could turn it into a blower motor which pretty much makes it a core.

I know that my approach is not considered to be what the average HASMBer wants but I believe that a blower motor should be built to be a blower motor. I don't consider a blower to be a bolt on accesory.
