Hello all, i purchased this 1932 ford firewall seal from so cal in az. it is made by vintique. does anyone have any pics of their own 32 ford firewall seals? i don't know how it gets installed. i have included a pic of it and any help on how it gets installed would be appreciated. so the piece to the left that points down goes where? fwd, aft, up, down?
I just looked at my original cowl with the original seal still in place, and that lip faces forward, and up.
The side that your thumb is on in your picture goes up and the lip thats closest to your hand goes toward the hood, if that makes sense.
The short side of the "L" goea forward and up creating a pad between the front of the cowl and the lip on the firewall.
