I have a 65 401 Nailead that is going to need a rebuild. Does anyone know an engine builder or speed shop in Michigan who are known to have experience with Nailhead engines? Thanks!

I'm on the west side of the state...of the ones I'd know, Dowker would be the closest to you. I'm not sure of others in your area....sorry.

Call Bob or Bob at All-Tech Performance. Burton, Mich.
810 743-6240. All work done in house.

Both have been doing nailheads since the sixties. Big Bob has done special engine cylinder head work for the old (Flint) Buick product development.

D&S Engine Specialists in Clawson, MI. They just finished a 322 for a buddy and do all kinds of early stuff. Stovebolts to hemis to flatheads. All work done in house.
