swapping steering wheels?

    I like the look of a mid 60s mustang steering wheel, how can i find out if it will fit on the shaft of my 51 F1? thanks

    Thanks...i found what i was looking for. I only needed the spline and I made a wheel for my sons truck(pix tomorrow)

    here is why i was curious about a mustang steering wheel.......I used the spline from a 66 mustang wheel and used and old hoop (from my buddys s**** pile at a valve company) and a couple wrenches and some s**** from around the shop.(i would love to say it was my idea but i saw one roughly done on here some time ago) Kyle

    Hope you didn't use those cheap Chinese wrenches, then again maybe this is a good use for them

    Hell even some the Craftsman stuff is made in China...But NO its not the "harbor freight" wrenches
