My 3yr old Sat down on Santa's knee and asked for a "training bike" for Christmas. Blue and white specifically.... After writing Santa a few times discussing my ideas and bribing him with a big plate of cookies with extra chocolate chips to be left out on Christmas eve he agreed...

My plan was to ship my first bike, a 16" Schwinn that my pop revamped for me back when I was a kid up to the North Pole..Santa said he would take care of it and would send me some pics soon. He wrote that the Elves had a lot of work to do and had to modify a tank, the horn, the chainguard and the rear rack to fit the little 16" since they never came this way or in this size...

Overall I think my boy will be quite happy with Santa's gift to him, I just hope he doesn't do the same things I used to do with it, like ghost ride it off of a launch ramp!

P.S!! I noticed a merc in the background so maybe Santa is bringing one of you guys or gals a new toy;)

Santa did an amazing job on that bike! It is beautiful and I'm sure your boy will be the envy of all the 3 year olds.

Those cats on American Restoration couldn't have done a better job ! Wow.

The older bikes sure are built better than the ones being sold today.

That's really cool. Great job !!! He better not leave that beauty out in the rain or out on the curb !! Someday I'd like to find/buy my 1st bike. A copper Schwinn stingray with chrome fenders, sissy bar and rear slick tire.

One of Santa's reindeer smacked a dent in the rear fender so santa had to do some on the fly touch ups before he left!!

wow. I've never seen a 16" bike with the scallops like those in the before pics. do you know what year it is? if not you can google "Schwinn serial numbers" and find out that way.

your kid is going to flip out! I know I would.

  30. Santa's workshop did an amazing job, I am sure he will love it.
