Have a 50 plymouth, gonna v8 it because the 6 is toast. Will the radiator be usable with a v8 motor. Seems bigger than most radiators used in todays vehicles. Thanks, Stan:)

I kinda thought the same, maybe an issue with the motor not heating up to operating range, but with the right thermostat i guess it should work... I'll find out. Thanks Gab, Stan

I bought my radiator from "Champion Radiator" from E-bay. It's a three core aluminium raditor for $189.00. The only there is no cooler in the bottom for a automatic transmission. The bottom hose outlet is stock Plymought that has a 90 degree outlet and not straight.

The original radiator has a good capacity and should fill your need
    However
You need to bear a couple of things in mind.
Its over 60 years old and may need a clean out - thats not bad/hard for a good shop or a knowledgeable backyard guy and cleaning the cooling tubes out allows the radiator to use all its capacity to do what its designed to do. The second thing is the inlet/outlet pipes may need altering - again not a biggy if the right gear is available.
They are a big capacity unit and will cool a good sizedV8
