This one was at the GSTA show a couple years ago. Apparently it has an extensive drag history. Pretty hard on the eyes though.

 

That one looks to me like it was made in a poor attempt to appear like it has an "extensive drag history"....but, I s'pose I could be wrong.......but I doubt it.

 

It's traditional then, complete with checkerboard firewall...

Here is a Christmas card from the 90s of my friend Matt Kobels Ford PU at Suffolk County LI (Westhampton) Raceway. Had a 383 cu.in. Jack Merkel motor and ran in the 10s. Sadly Mathew died in a traffic accident in 2003.
The truck is still in the possesion of Matts wife hopefully his young son Kyle will get a chance to use it.
