On this 56 buick wagon the power booster is bad since this a rare one year brake set up ,is there a way just go back to manual brakes with out all the $$$ of trying to find a new booster? Thanks and MERRY CHRISTMAS to you all Bruce.
Im not very familiar with them in particular but how hard could it be to adapt a late 60's style booster and master to the firewall on the wagon, even if you had to rob the pedal ***embly from a GM car too it wouldnt be that difficult to pull off I wouldnt think.
Dont do it,Thats alot of iron to stop @ 60 MPH. Look into a more modern power brake two resevor system. Cal
Is that an under floor Treadle-vac system? If so, I would look at street rod type underfloor power set ups. (Provided you don't mind changing stuff.) They are small and should work.
