I've got a 318 fuel pump adapted to my 291 Desoto hemi using HotHemi adaptor. My question is which port is the fuel inlet? The front port is threaded so I'm thinking that is input port. Rear port has male output that takes fuel hose with clamp. Thanks for your help.
BTW, I ran brake lines to new rearend and also ran new fuel line from new poly tank that replaces the 1 gallon fuel oil can that came with the car as the "fuel tank."
    I'm getting closer.
    Thanks for the help. Al

The front threaded port goes to the carb. The other port, for a hose and clamp, is the inlet. The fuel line from the tank ran along the right frame rail and was connected to the pump via an approximately 6" rubber hose.

Thank you very much. It ought to run better with correct port as input!
    Thanks again. Al

Yup! Eliminates the problems that oem f/ps have been having lately.
