It was kindly suggested to me that I ought to introduce myself before I post - good idea, my bad. Name is Tim Chambers and I teach ROP Auto Technology at Laguna Hills High School in Laguna Hills CA. I started teaching 6 years ago after spending 35 years in the heavy equipment industry. Started as a tech, field service, moved on to running numerous shops in the So Cal area. Been a car guy since a kid but got into racing motocross for quite a few years mainly because it was and is a great sport and affordable. Hung up my boots a few years ago and started building a race car but that didn`t pan out. I`ve restored a few cars, mainly euro stuff but a couple of early Mustangs and a lot of vintage motorcycles. I`m trying to open my students eyes to the restoration of older cars, we need to keep the art alive for future generations. We just finished our 69.5 Maverick street rod and have a `64 Galaxie we`re starting. Hopefully we`ll be doing the #353 Morris roadster next year! That`s about it, looking forward to hanging out here on the board. Tim
