This one should work well for you coulumn shift guys too its 4" high and 2" deep. I tested it on my buddys 51 Chevy and seems to clear well. I still havent decided how to paint em yet but one will be done soon. For some reaon the teeth dont seem to be showing up in the pics. Once again my photography prowess is evident as always.
Hey - they look awesome! You going to be selling any? If so how does this little column shifter get his grubby mits on one? nooch
As soon as I got some painted up I'll be throwing them in the cl***ifieds. I'll shoot you a PM when I do.
You are turning out nice work,in my opinion....it's always good to see what you are up to.....nothing ****py about your art.
Brand, I have to agree with the man in red fur AND a verse from a Golden Earring song (Radar O Love). You do excellent work! You shouldn't be so down on yourself..........you have an amazing talent that I'd like to exploit. **x Brandy
****py? If you start calling your stuff ****py it will only make the rest of us look worse. Then I'd really be screwed. Those look great. Possibly your coolest knobs yet.
Thanks for all the nice words. I'm just one of those typical art guys that all I see is the fingerprints that I thought I sanded out. I do need to refine my casting process though without a pressure chamber they get miniscule bubbles that make the painting look bad when I spray them. It drives me nuts, and is also keeping the 59 Buick lenses from being made. If you know how to make a cheap pressure chamber shoot a guy a PM. I was thinking Plexi, epoxy and my compressor oh and a hope and a pryer will do it. Like Don Ho said, Tiny bubbles make me crazy. or something close to that
We love that stuff...been using it for years. I used to mix it with another SS product ( ProMat) that was discontinued, but now use PreMo to get rid of that translucent look that SS has out of the box.... About 1oz of PreMo to 1 lb of SS...or 2oz to 2lb for more opacity.... Just some random formulas we use, not trying to ****-in.....
Thanks for the tips Johnny that flesh color dose seem to hide the figerprints well I'll give that a try and talc powder too.
