1937 ford coupe hood side panels

Im not very familiar with a 37 ford coupe this might be a dumb question but ohh well on the 37 ford hood side panels are those bolted on or latched with pins to remove ???? i purchased a set and wondering if they get bolted on has a pin to remove incase of a mechanical problem compare to a 35-36 ford they latch on to the hood and ****erflies upword... does anyone have any pics would help out thanks you guys again and have a great new years.....

 

I'm pretty sure they get bolted in place.

They bolt on , top edge front and rear of the hood.

 

Mine on my 37 Ford Ute bolt on also. Same front end as the US cars.

its cool that its bolt on but ****s to access your motor if you have have an issue

 

There are two screws that hold the Hood Sides on.....one is up by the grille and the other is on the firewall end and the screw screws into the hood hinge.......takes one minute to get the screws out......the screws you see in the picture have nothing to do with the Hood sides......those are the screws that hold the inner fender panel to the fender.....

Man now I'm more confused so it sounds like it picks up with the hood

 

No, stays attached to the mounts on the cowl and the rad shell independent of the hood.

 

No,they do not pick up with the hood.Hood comes up and sides stay and are removed with the screws are bolts mentioned earlier.
