It is always a great experience. Well organized, lots of older cars and builders from earlier days and really nice machines. Here are a few photo's.

Absolutely worth the trip. Get a room soon before they are gone, and leve space in your bags to take home T-shirts and other treasure.

    Lots of motels in town.

Scroll up and look at the hotels along Hwy 99 between Norris Rd and Olive Dr. Famoso is just up the road from them. ( 15-20 min ) Good food close by. Try both Hodels and Milt's.
As for night life. Chuys or The Roadhouse or both for they share the parking lot, usually have a Kickoff Party. They are West of Hwy 99 on Hwy 58 / Rosedale Hwy. I don't think much cruising going on. For the CHRR they have some fun at the Double Tree Hotel in town. Which is right there at Hwy 99 and Hwy 58.
Even though I am a local, I don't know what goes own it town during the March Meet for I am always out at the track. There is some night life out there, both on the racers side and spectator side of the track. With a weekend p*** you can stay out as long as you want.

Yeah, when we went out to the CHRR last fall it was In-N-Out for lunch and Bob's Big Boy for dinner. More then once!
We had a great time at the CHRR, hoping the March meet will be doable this year as well. I'm sure you'll not be dissappointed.

You did good. I was just at Buck Owens Crystal Palace last night for New Years. Was scoping out the motels as I drove down Buck Owens Blvd. That hotel just off the Hwy99. Just get on the Hwy North 15-20 minutes to Hwy 46/ Famoso Rd. Hang a right go another 5 Min east. Earlier the better or you will be parking 1/2 mile out along the almond orchards.
Also just down the street is Zingo's Cafe 24 hr Diner. Beats going to a Denny's

Im Looking for a G***er, Altered, or another FED Roller at least I can sit in them and touch them and check them out instead of seeing something on line to purchase and get it home and it doesnt fit or the guy was not telling the truth abouth the ride. Our do you think the prices wil be to high there
